Spend the morning making 2 pieces of decorated pottery using slipware techniques with Kate Sellers
About this event
In this beginner’s workshop, Kate will introduce the techniques used in creating decoration with coloured slip and then guide you through the process of making your own 2 bespoke hand made pieces. You’ll be allowed to practice the techniques and test your designs under Kate’s guidance. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created a trinket dish and a coaster ready for firing. (Once complete the pieces will be taken back to Kate’s workshop where she will fire them prior to them being returned to Water Lane for your collection.
